Legacy Humane Veterinary Clinic is slated to open in September, board President Molly Brodnax said.

The nonprofit clinic, which is sponsored by the Legacy Humane Society, aims to provide affordable pet care options for families in the area, according to its website. The clinic will offer a range of preventative care treatments for dogs and cats such as spay and neuter services, vaccinations and heartworm testing.

The clinic will also offer services for rabbits, ferrets and other small domestic animals. A full list of services can be found on the clinic’s website.
