Expansions include:
- New parking spaces
- A new sport court
- A new community cafe
Part of the renovations include enclosing the campus’s current sport court and adding an additional floor. The bottom floor will be a full-service coffee shop, and the top floor will include a prayer room and a conference room. The renovations also include a covered patio and balcony.
“It will be a very nice area where people can come in and get food,” Meredith said. “Coffee and all the different drinks you would expect in a full-service coffee shop.”
The youth room is also being expanded to nearly double its current size, Meredith said, adding that it will also serve as an event center.
The new sport court will include lighting as well as removable and adjustable basketball goals and will be open to the public.
Brookhaven Church is a Baptist ministry. The renovations are expected to be complete in early 2024.
