HBCU Hub, a company that operates a mobile application connecting students to recruiters at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, has relocated to McKinney from Carson, California.

The company is housed at Regus Craig Ranch, a coworking space located at 6800 Weiskopf Ave., Ste. 150, McKinney. It is one of the many companies that have relocated to McKinney through the McKinney Economic Development Corp.’s Innovation Fund, according to a news release from the MEDC.

“We are very excited to make the transition from California to McKinney,” HBCU Hub’s Cofounder and CEO Jonathan Swindell said in the release. “The closest [HBCU] to us was in Texas, so this move comes at a great time for our organization as we are now closer to our end users.”

Swindell added that the relocation allows the company’s team to visit client schools as they train staff on the new version of the app, which is schedu led to launch on May 10.

Since its founding in 2018, HBCU Hub has closed more than $100,000 in data management sales and has been used in over 80 countries, the release said. 504-564-3099. https://hbcuhub.us
