Ella Inspires opened in a new office March 2 inside of Tech Culture McKinney, 1720 Bray Central Drive, Ste. 100-U, McKinney. Ella Inspires is a monthly, local magazine for professional women and entrepreneurs, according to a news statement from the business. "Ella" is the Spanish word for "her" and is meant to represent every woman who is chasing her dreams, the magazine said. In each issue, one woman is featured and shares her personal growth story, and the magazine's online blog has articles on fashion, lifestyle and more. Emily graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in multi-platform journalism and a minor in criminal justice in Spring 2018. During her studies, Emily worked as an editor and reporter at The Houstonian, SHSU's local newspaper. Upon graduation, she began an editorial internship at Community Impact Newspaper in DFW, where she was then hired as Community Impact's first McKinney reporter in August 2018.
