Trinity Falls, located in the northwest sector of McKinney, added 271 acres to its development after the purchase of Heritage Farm. This expansion will add approximately 1,000 single-family homes, 7,100 square feet of office space and 13,200 square feet of retail. A fourth elementary school, fire station and park space will also be added to the master plan, according to a news release from Trinity Falls. "This is a significant purchase, increasing our acreage from more than 1,700 to nearly 2,000 and allowing us to create a community with almost 5,000 single-family homes," General Manager of Trinity Falls Jim Baker said in the release. Trinity Falls also expanded in August of 2017 to include single-family homes built by Perry Homes, an amenity center and a 330-acre park. Trinity Falls features homes ranging from the upper $200,000s to more than $600,000 and is home to B.B. Owen Park, a 350-acre natural area along the Trinity River.
