McKinney’s population resides in a variety of dwelling units, with the most common unit type being single-family residences. The city’s mobile home units have the highest estimated occupancy rate at 100%, followed by 96.4% of single-family units occupied and 93.7% of multifamily units occupied, according to city documents.New residents contributing to the population growth are concentrated in north of US 380, with some growth in central and south McKinney.
