The community is invited to a Feb. 12 town hall that will focus on wireless technology and infrastructure in the city of McKinney.

City staff and a consultant from HR Green, an engineering firm working with the city to develop policies to manage wireless and fifth generation technology, will present a general timeline on its planning process so far. McKinney City Council's guiding principles will also be presented.

The meeting will have a designated time for community questions and comments.

The main purpose of the town hall is to get input from the public on the city’s planning efforts, McKinney Strategic Planning Manager Trevor Minyard said in an email.

“The city is engaging in master planning efforts on wireless technology and infrastructure and would like input on services and infrastructure needs in addition to general comments,” Minyard said.

The town hall will take place at the Senior Recreation Center, located at 1400 S. College St., McKinney, at 6 p.m.
