Who is Cassidy Ritter, anyway?

Good question. In short, Cassidy Ritter will be your new source for all things McKinney beginning in our June issue when she replaces me as editor and I embark on a new journey.

I could not have chosen a better replacement. She is smart, hard-working and dedicated to her craft, and you guys will love her.

Cassidy has been serving as our senior Plano reporter since August and will take good care of the paper as McKinney continues to grow. I’ll still be here as a contributing writer, so don’t cry in your cereal too much. 

I launched this paper in April 2015 and have loved each issue, resident email and Facebook comment as well as the bond elections, City Council meetings and multimillion-dollar stadium headlines in between.
