    Home for the Holidays

    Downtown McKinney will host family friendly activities, food and entertainment for the annual Christmas celebration. Activities include visits with Santa, a carousel and more.McKinney Believe Race

    The event will include a Santa chase where children can chase Santa in a 100 yard dash, as well as a 5K race and a one mile race, with proceeds benefiting the Holy Family School. Pets are welcome in the one mile race.Roadside Couch

    Improv troupe Roadside Couch will perform at The Comedy Arena in this show recommended for viewers ages 17 and older.Market & Music at District 121

    District 121 will host an evening of music and shopping featuring local vendors and live music.Holiday at the Heard


    Families are encouraged to get outside and experience The Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary. Attendees will see holiday lights and decor throughout the museum's half-mile nature trail.Monte Montgomery Live at The Sanctuary

    Holiday Tour of Homes

    The Holiday Tour of Homes is the Heritage Village at Chestnut Square’s 51-year old tradition to raise funds to maintain its collection of preserved historical homes. Attendees will visit six private residences in the area that are extensively decorated for the holiday season. The self-guided tour also includes bonus stops and holiday activities at Chestnut Square.7th All Star Christmas Concert

    The McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra will host its 7th annual All Star Christmas concert featuring musician Tatiana “Ladymay” Mayfield. Maylee Thomas and Trenton Hull will join the lineup to perform classic Christmas songs in jazz, pop, folk and many other styles.Jingle, The Christmas Band
