March 18 | Tour a coffee roasting facility

TexaKona Coffee Roasters hosts a weekly tour of its facility every Saturday at 11 a.m. Attendees can learn more about the coffee roasting process and meet the business’s primary roaster, Dave Krazer. March 18 | See a car show at a coffee shop

The monthly Cars and Coffee event will be held at Duino Coffee from 8-10 a.m. March 18. The event features all car types, with the first 10 to arrive receiving free drip coffee. The event is held monthly on the third Saturday and appeals to both coffee and car enthusiasts. Spectators are free, as are car show entrants with online sign-up. March 18 | Go to a comedy show

The Comedy Arena will host standup comedian Damien Lemon for two shows March 18. Lemon has previously appeared on MTV, HBO, Comedy Central and more. March 18 | Listen to live music in downtown

Jacob Furr will perform at Cadillac Pizza Pub in Historic Downtown McKinney on March 18. Furr is an award-winning local singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. The live music will begin at 9 p.m. and continue until 11:30 p.m. Cadillac Pizza Pub, located downtown at 112 S. March 18 | Experience ghostly haunting at Chestnut Square

The Ghostly Hauntings at Chestnut Square tour features audio and video clips of paranormal activity in the historic homes at Chestnut Square. The two-hour tour is held in the dark and takes participants through the history and paranormal sightings at several homes on the property. Tickets are $25 each and in limited quantities. March 17-19 | Visit McKinney Trade Days

Third Monday McKinney Trade Days is holding a grand reopening for the monthly event held the Friday, Saturday and Sunday before the third Monday of the month. The Trade Days event offers over 200 vendors, as well as food trucks and music. The grand reopening event will also have raffles, along with an off-road vehicle show March 18. March 18-19 | Go to a garden show

The Collin County Master Gardeners Association is hosting its annual Garden Show over the weekend, featuring speakers, demonstrations, vendors, family activities and more. Speakers on the first day of the event will present topics including drought-proofing, how to grow great turf in Collin County, and how to grow tomatoes, while presentations on the event’s second day will include tree pruning, plant combinations and garden whimsy.

The event will be held at the Myers Park and Event Center, located at 7117 CR 166, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own cart or wagon. The $2 per person entry cost will be donated to the Community Garden Kitchen. March 19 | Try yoga with goats


This outdoor yoga class will feature goats grazing and jumping on and around you during the session. Participants will need to bring their own yoga mats, and age 5 and older are welcome to participate along with a parent or guardian.
