Why are you running?

I’m running to ensure that we protect what we have built here in Texas—not just for today—but for the future of all Texans.

If elected, what would be your top priorities?

I will secure our border by providing the funding and tools needed to stop the flow of illegal immigrants into our state. I will secure the Texas Miracle by continuing to make sure our taxes are low and by fighting the disastrous policies that have caused soaring prices.

What will you bring to this office in terms of your qualifications or perspective?

Now running for my seventh term, I know what it takes to be an effective leader in the Texas House. I’ve spent countless hours meeting with constituents and when I’m re-elected, they know they can count on me to be a champion for them in the Texas House.

What are the biggest issues facing the district today, and how do you plan to address them if elected?

Border, inflation and education. I will continue to fully fund education—including pay raises for our exemplary teachers. I will advance legislation that protects your pocketbook and reduces excessive spending. I will support our border patrol agents and invest in the resources needed to ensure that every Texan is safe.
