According to unofficial results, Republican Jeff Leach has won the race for State House of Representatives District 67, retaining his seat against opponent Democrat Kevin Morris with all 105 of Collin County’s voting centers reporting.

Leach won with 59.22% of the vote, or 38,758 votes. Morris followed with 40.78%, or 26,692 votes.

Leach was first elected to the Texas House of Representatives in November 2012 and has served five terms since, according to his campaign website. Morris works for a Fortune 500 company and has served as a Collin County Democratic precinct chair, according to his campaign website.

District 67 covers parts of Collin County, including portions of McKinney, Plano, Allen and more.
