Also on the agenda

New playground equipment will be installed at Bennett and Malvern elementary schools as the district expanded its preschool program to the two campuses.

The cost for the playground equipment is $115,834 at Bennett Elementary and $108,284 at Malvern Elementary. Project costs include the playground equipment, new chain link fencing and irrigation system relocation.

Bennett Elementary’s cost is higher as a sidewalk will need to be removed and replaced for the playground, per the agenda.
