Filings to run for Place 7, Place 8 and Place 9 on the board opened Jan. 13 and closed at 5 p.m. Feb. 12.
All three incumbents for those seats submitted paperwork to run for re-election, and each will face a challenger on the ballot.
For Place 7, incumbent Jim Orr will face Helen Chang. For Place 8, incumbent Dr. James Robert "Bob" Collins will face Misty Irby. And in Place 9, incumbent Andrew Hardin faces Jacoby Stewart.
Board members for Collin College serve six-year, staggered terms and are not subject to term limits. Candidates run for specific seats and represent the community at large.
Early voting is April 19-27. The election is May 1.
