Drivers in McKinney can soon expect a new turn lane at the intersection of US 75 and US 380. The Texas Department of Transportation and city of McKinney will begin lane-configuration work at the intersection April 29.
Upon completion, the intersection will include three left turn lanes from northbound US 75 to westbound US 380, according to the city of McKinney.
Starting April 29, lane striping and signage will be installed. After, TxDOT will install pavement markings and signs, weather permitting, according to the city. The intersection will also be striped to show drivers turning paths.
Drivers can expect various lane closures beginning at 9:30 p.m. on April 29. Work performed should only take four to six hours, according to city officials.
