Egg-Cited Brunch House is now open in McKinney.

The restaurant serves a number of breakfast and lunch items, owner Tim Ramo said, adding it serves traditional American food with a “modern twist.” Menu items include omelets, eggs benedict, skillet dishes and more. The lunch menu includes salads, wraps, paninis and burgers.

“We got something for everybody,” Ramo said. “We have heavy food...and healthier options as well.”

Ramo said the restaurant will have a rotating menu, changing twice a year. Along with breakfast and lunch, Egg-Cited also has a full bar.

The backstory

Ramo said he grew up working in restaurants, adding that his father immigrated to America and started working in a restaurant, eventually working his way to kitchen manager and then general manager.

“He threw me in the kitchen when I was 11 years old,” Ramo said. “I had my first [restaurant] when I was in college.”

Ramo owns Egg-Cited Brunch House with his business partner, Art Celiku. They previously owned Eggsquisite Cafe but sold the restaurant in 2020. They also own The Scrambler Cafe, which has four locations in the DFW area.
