The restaurant will offer Asian cuisine in the form of customizable stir fry bowls. Guests can build their own bowl by choosing a protein, a vegetable mix, a sauce and a base of either rice or noodles. Protein options include chicken, beef, shrimp or tofu, according to the restaurant’s menu.
The restaurant’s menu also includes soups, rice and noodle dishes, and appetizers such as egg rolls and potstickers.
“No matter what you're looking for under the umbrella of Asian cuisine, you can probably find it on our menu,” Jared Cole, investment manager for Daniel Legacy Capital, said.
The Austin-based restaurant brand was acquired by Daniel Legacy Capital in 2023 but has been in operation since 1996, according to its website. Fire Bowl Cafe currently has five locations in the Austin area and one location in Colorado.
Cole said the company chose to expand to McKinney due to the rapid growth in the area.
“[McKinney] is an area that ... can be really successful for us today but should probably only continue to see additional growth,” Cole said.
