The restaurant, owned by husband and wife Michael and Trinh Yambao, is a new concept inspired by their favorite Vietnamese dishes.
“We really enjoy ... the street food that our families in Vietnam had, and so we want to bring what we have at our dinner table and ... share it with the rest of the community,” Trinh Yambao said.
The restaurant will offer pho, a Vietnamese soup dish, and customers will be able to choose their broth flavor, noodle and protein type as well as customize the vegetable toppings. Other dishes on the menu will include vermicelli noodle dishes, Vietnamese sandwiches, desserts and coffees. Pho Lane will also offer “Texas-sized” spring rolls and egg rolls, Trinh Yambao said.
