A new Jack in the Box location is planned for northwest McKinney, according to a Sept. 5 McKinney City Council meeting.

The restaurant will be located at the northwest corner of Custer Road and Falcon View Drive, according to city documents. City Council members unanimously approved a specific-use permit for the project, with council members Justin Beller and Geré Feltus absent.

Jack in the Box offers a variety of burgers and sandwiches along with fries, tacos, breakfast items and more, according to its menu. There are two existing Jack in the Box restaurants in McKinney, both located east of US 75.
