The coffee shop will be located at 6091 University Drive, McKinney, near Ridge Road.
Summer Moon Coffee offers iced and hot coffee drinks made with wood-fired coffee beans as well as its signature Moon Milk sweet cream. The coffee shop will also offer cold brew and blended coffee drinks as well as breakfast and lunch food options, according to its website.
The space, formerly a PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans location, is being remodeled for the new coffee shop. The location will offer indoor and outdoor seating, free Wi-Fi and online order-ahead service, Richardson said.
The coffee shop will be the seventh Dallas-Fort Worth-area Summer Moon Coffee location, joining locations in Frisco, Celina, Dallas, Keller and more. The location will also be the first in the area with a drive-thru, Richardson said.
