Valerie’s Taco Stand opened a north McKinney location in mid-February, according to restaurant staff.

The taco shop, located at 1614 W. University Drive, is the second McKinney location for the restaurant. The first location opened in south McKinney as part of the Hub 121 development in January.

The San Diego-style Mexican restaurant sells a variety of meat and vegetable tacos, including carne asada, grilled shrimp and carnitas. Burritos, quesadillas and breakfast items are also available, according to its menu.
