E.J. Wills Gastropub announced its acquisition and renovation of McKinney Coffee Company, the restaurant's sister concept, on Dec. 1.
The former coffee shop’s 1,200-square-foot space has been converted into additional seating for 60 guests of the gastropub, as well as a private event space and an additional bar, according to a news release. The creation of the rentable private space comes after “frequent requests” to use the former coffee shop space for private events, owner of E.J. Wills Gastropub Joy Booth said in the release.
“With this renovation, we have positioned ourselves to respond to the growing community demand for a private room for mid-size groups,” Booth said in the release.
The restaurant, located at 1910 N. Stonebridge Drive, serves American cuisine including burgers, sandwiches, salads and more, according to its website. For more information about the private space, visit www.ejwillsgastropub.com or contact [email protected].
