Heritage McKinney Square is now open and offering residences for rent in East McKinney.

The four-story multifamily development, located at the northeast corner of McDonald Street and East Virginia Street, features 328 units including studio apartments as well as one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment configurations. The development also includes live-work units and four townhomes.

Amenities offered at the property include a resort-style pool, fitness center, a dog park, and outdoor spaces such as a courtyard and a yoga lawn, according to its website. The development also features various commercial spaces on the ground floor along McDonald and East Virginia streets, including some still available for lease, Assistant Manager Savannah Caruso said.

Caruso said pre-leasing for the development began in summer 2024 with the first residents moving in later that year. Construction on the development was completed in early March, she said. The development is a sister property to Davis at the Square, another multifamily development located near downtown McKinney.
