1. Gabe Nesbitt indoor tennis facility
Work continued to build a new $11 million indoor tennis complex at Gabe Nesbitt Community Park. The facility is located off Alma Road and Eldorado Parkway. At this time foundation work for the facility is nearing completion. Building construction is slated to begin in May. The project remains on schedule and is set to open before the end of the year, McKinney Parks and Recreation Department officials said.

2. Touchmark at Emerald Lake
A project for a new luxury senior living facility at Hardin Boulevard and Virginia Parkway is underway. Building frames are now going up following months of grading and preparing to install the project’s fire lane. Now that the grading and fire lane have been completed, the first building is set to be finished with its framing later this summer. This project is set to be completed in early 2024.

3. Cirrus Aircraft facility
Work will begin this summer on Cirrus Aircraft's new maintenance and repair facility. The facility will be located on about 4 acres at the McKinney National Airport off of Harry McKillop Boulevard and Airport Drive in McKinney. The city and Cirrus Aircraft are finalizing details of the land lease agreement and construction permits have been issued.
