An additional 32 cases of coronavirus, including four in McKinney, were reported by Collin County health officials May 26.

The county has 311 active cases of the virus, with 50 in McKinney. Since testing began in mid-March, there have been 1,189 confirmed positive cases in Collin County.

McKinney has had 235 confirmed cases of COVID-19. In the city, 169 cases have recovered, and 3 are hospitalized.

845 Collin County residents have successfully recovered, while 20 are hospitalized and 291 remain in home isolation.

There have been 15,868 negative COVID-19 tests in Collin County, and there are 2,071 people being monitored for the virus.


As of May 26, there have been 33 deaths of a person who had tested positive for coronavirus in Collin County, including 17 McKinney deaths.
