As of May 18, there have been 220 confirmed cases of the coronavirus across the four McKinney ZIP codes, according to Collin County health officials.

McKinney has 133 recovered cases, as well as 17 deaths, according to the county's online dashboard. There are 70 active cases across the city, and four remain hospitalized.


Collin County identified 19 new cases of the virus May 18. The county has 713 recovered cases, as well as 303 active cases. Thirteen of the total are hospitalized, while 290 remain in home isolation.

There have been 13,491 negative COVD-19 tests in Collin County, and there are 1,776 people being monitored for coronavirus May 18.
