An additional 14 positive cases of the new coronavirus were reported April 30 by Collin County health officials.

The county has 208 active cases of the virus and 724 total positive cases. McKinney residents make up 153 cases of that total, as shown on the county’s online dashboard.

An 84-year-old McKinney man who tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week was reported April 30 as the 21st coronavirus death in Collin County. The man had underlying health conditions, according to the report.

As of this afternoon, 496 of the county’s total cases have recovered, and 28 are hospitalized.

There have been 7,517 negative COVID-19 tests in Collin County, and there are 1,160 people being monitored for the virus as of April 30.
