Last ‘Food Truck Friday’ event at Trinity Falls
Mamitas Taco Truck, Pop Stars Retro VW Bus and Yummy Pizza Food Truck will be serving mobile eats at Trinity Falls Friday. The event will also have a DJ, bounce house, lawn games and other activities. The free event runs from 5-8 p.m. at the Club at Trinity Falls, 7801 Trinity Falls Parkway, McKinney. McKinney Classic Film Festival kicks off Saturday
The McKinney Classic Film Festival will take place Saturday and Sunday at the McKinney Performing Arts Center, 111 N. Tennessee St., McKinney. “GiGi” will be shown Friday at 7:30 p.m. Saturday’s showings include “The Band Wagon” and “Meet Me in St. Louis” at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., respectively. Sunday’s showings include “The Pirate” at 2:30 p.m. and “On the Town” at 5 p.m. Tickets are available online and are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, $60 for the VIP pass and $40 for the Film Buff pass.
Saturday night dinner, auction supports McKinney Mounted Patrol
This dinner and auction will benefit the mounted unit of the McKinney Police Department. Dinner will be provided by III Forks, beer by Tupps Brewery and dessert by Harvest Seasonal Kitchen. Dinner tickets can be purchased online at www.mckinneymps.org for $50. The event will be held at Gather McKinney, located at 207 E. Virginia Drive, McKinney.
