Unofficial Republican primary election voting totals for Collin County Commissioner Precinct 3 have been released and show incumbent Chris Hill maintains his seat as commissioner with 15,275 votes, or 83.17 percent of the vote. Jon Cocks followed with 3,090 votes or 16.83 percent of the votes.

Republican primary early election voting numbers for Collin County Commissioner Precinct 3 have been released and show incumbent Chris Hill leading the way with 8,186 votes, or 83.83 percent of the vote. Jon Cocks follows with 1,579 votes or 16.17 percent of the votes.
Hill is a certified public accountant, and a member of MENSA, the Rotary Club of McKinney, the Kiwanis Club of McKinney, the North Texas Christian Home School Association and the Texas Home School Coalition.
Cocks is a certified public accountant and a member of the Small Business Council of America, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and attends Chase Oak Church.
