The city of McKinney continues its discussion of the development of its 9-acre site near downtown as a nonbinding letter of intent with Columbus Realty Partners was signed Jan. 19.
The property will consist of a mixed-use development that city officials hope will act as an extension of the downtown square with a mix of retail, office and residential spaces.
Columbus Realty Partners will begin holding presentations of design concepts this spring. Construction is expected to start no later than January 2017 once the city signs its final, legally binding letter of agreement.
