Redefined Eyecare, located at 8710 W. University Drive, will relocate to a nearby retail center called the Landing at McKinney later this year, owner and optometrist Dr. Sally Tam Nguyen said.

Redefined Eyecare provides optical health services, including eye exams and eye injury treatment, according to their website.

Some background

Nguyen confirmed that the US 380 bypass project prompted the relocation. The office is in a shopping center identified as an expected displacement due to the road project, according to the Texas Department of Transportation’s website. An AT&T store, also located in the shopping center, will relocate to the nearby West Grove development later this summer. Three other businesses in that shopping center, including Jason’s Deli, White Rhino Coffee and 3Natives, have also closed ahead of the highway expansion.
