Lifepoint Church opened in Plano in 1989 and the last service was held at this campus in March. While the new campus is being built in McKinney, church members are meeting at Rock Hill High School in Frisco.

“A few years ago, we discerned that God was calling us to start a new, additional campus in the growing area of northern Collin County,” Senior Pastor Mark Riggins said in an email. “Along the way, we recognized that instead of starting an additional campus, God was calling us to go ‘all in’ and relocate our ministries there.”

Lifepoint Church will open the McKinney campus on Easter Sunday in 2025.

“We hoped for an existing building to renovate, and our new 31-acre campus has an existing building and is centrally located amongst four of the ten fastest growing cities in America,” Riggins said.
