The healthcare facility offers mental health care with the mission to reduce suicide rates, decrease psychiatric hospitalization, decrease accidental overdoses from substances, and increase the quality of life for McKinney residents, a company spokesperson said.
“Many people are struggling with mental health challenges,” PsychPlus Chief Executive Officer Faisal Tai said in a news release. “This trend was exacerbated by the [Covid-19] crisis, with people becoming more isolated than ever. Since we are social animals, this isolation was a big contributor to increased depression and anxiety, as well as other mental health conditions. We are working hard to help people struggling with these challenges.”
