The new indoor self storage center would include a four-story, 130,000-square-foot building as well as a single story 7,200-square-foot building, according to city documents. The facility is planned for a roughly 5.6-acre property at the southeast corner of Bloomdale Road and Custer Road.
Commissioners unanimously approved a specific use permit for the project at a June 27 meeting.
Extra Space Storage offers self storage units at over 2,000 locations in 42 states, according to its website. A phone number for the location is not yet available.
