High 5 Entertainment broke ground on its new location at The Farm in Allen on June 14, according to a news release.

The family-friendly venue set to open in late spring 2024 will include miniature golf, axe throwing, escape rooms and a 24-lane bowling alley with Duck Pin bowling and virtual reality. The roughly 3-acre project will also offer a two-story laser tag arena and a full bar, according to the release.

“High 5 Entertainment’s exciting new venue at The Farm in Allen will provide a unique experience for people of all ages,” said Matt Foster, board president of the Allen Community Development Corporation, in the release.

The project, located at the southeast corner of SH 121 and Alma Drive, is the first in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for Austin-based High 5 Entertainment. The two-story venue will total nearly 42,000 square feet with over 25,000 square feet of adjacent miniature golf space, according to the release.

“We are thrilled and humbled to partner with the city of Allen to bring High 5 to The Farm in Allen, adding to the development’s perfect blend of urban residential, senior living, retail, corporate headquarters, townhomes, lofts, restaurants and, of course, entertainment,” High 5 President Scott Emley said in the release.

The location is the third for High 5, which currently has two Austin-area locations. The project will neighbor other projects at The Farm in Allen including The Hub, an open-air entertainment venue, as well as offices, retail space, restaurants, a hotel and more, according to the release.
