The Range in McKinney held a soft opening Nov. 9 and a grand opening on Nov. 11 for its new facility in east McKinney. The gun range, located at 415 Industrial Blvd., is an indoor shooting and training center. The facility has an interactive live fire range with 18 lanes and on-site training by certified instructors for beginning, intermediate and advanced shooters, according to its website. The Range also has firearms for sale and rent, as well as a gunsmith on site, according to a news release.

The facility also claims to have the first immersive 300-degree video simulator available to civilians in Texas and surrounding states, according to its website. The video simulator, commonly used by military and police forces, offers marksmanship and judgment training for shooters using reality-based simulations, according to its website.
