Chiropractor Todd Molski said he had multiple reasons for choosing Freedom Health Centers as the name of his practice. One reason is patriotism.

“Being an American is a big thing,” Molski said.

The other reason, he explained, is medical in nature.

“If you don’t have your health, you’re really not free—you’re bound by your disease and that’s not good,” he said.

Molski earned his degree in 1998 from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri. He worked for other doctors for four years. In 2002 he opened his own chiropractic practice, Molski Chiropractic, in McKinney.

In 2007, he moved his office to the current location and in 2012 his practice underwent substantial adjustments.

In addition to the name change, Molski integrated the office by adding a team of professionals and significantly increasing the office space. The team is comprised of professionals in chiropractic, physical medicine, physical rehab, regenerative medicine, nutrition, weight loss and massage therapy.

“It’s the best thing I ever did in terms of practice because it’s what I envision practice is—multiple types of providers working together to help the patient.”

Molski said the purpose statement of the practice is, “Saving lives by adjusting the way people eat, move and think.”

Many patients who come in with back, neck or knee pain find the underlying cause lies in their gut, he said.

“The root of their problem is SAD and SAL—Standard American Diet and Standard American Lifestyle,” Molski said. “It’s what causes almost everything to be a problem.”

His practice sees patients whose ages range from newborn babies to people over 90 years old. He and his staff treat newborns who have reflux, colic and constipation. They also treat athletes, student athletes and those with degenerative and chronic issues.

During their first visit, which lasts approximately 90 minutes, patients will receive a general exam, an evaluation of their chief complaint, a chiropractic exam and much more. Following these steps, a treatment recommendation will be given.

“We want patients to stick around because they’ve invested in getting themselves better and then they maintain it,” Molski said. “Health isn’t a destination; you want to keep yourself healthy.”
