KVP International will move into a 120,000-square-foot warehouse at 5801 Corporate Drive, McKinney, sometime in October, McKinney Economic Development Corp. officials confirmed June 17. The company is currently based in Chino, California.
Social media posts from the MEDC said the move to the new facility will bring more than 80 new jobs to the city of McKinney.
"The value that McKinney offers to companies searching for a new home goes beyond our competitive site locations,” MEDC President Peter Tokar said in a statement. “This city offers a better cost and quality of living to their employees. Companies like KVP International Inc. have as their No. 1 priority their staff, and McKinney offers a unique live, work, and play environment—perfect for any company to flourish."
The city of McKinney and KVP International have been in talks for three years to make the move happen, officials said.
