ClubCorp acquires McKinney's TPC Craig Ranch Golf Club

ClubCorp announced the acquisition of TPC Craig Ranch golf club Jan. 2.

ClubCorp, Dallas-based owner and operator of over 200 golf, country and city clubs in 27 states, announced its acquisition of TPC Craig Ranch, a private golf club featuring a Tom Weiskopf-designed championship golf course on 233-acres, located at 6850 TPC Drive, McKinney, on Jan. 2.

“Craig Ranch is a true live, work and play community with TPC Craig Ranch as one of the centerpieces,” Craig Ranch Developer David Craig said in the release. “As the community continues to grow, Craig Ranch continues to expand the lifestyle amenities for residences. We are confident ClubCorp will provide many enhancements to the benefits and services members receive.”

TPC Craig Ranch members will be able to access ClubCorp’s network of private clubs, services and benefits, according to the release.

“As the Dallas-Fort Worth area continues as a leader in the nation in population growth – with McKinney as one of the fastest growing cities – we are thrilled to add this premier property to our portfolio,” ClubCorp CEO David Pillsbury said in a ClubCorp news release. “The TPC brand represents exceptional quality and great golf experiences and is a complementary addition to our premier collection of clubs. We are excited to build on the traditions of this great club.”
