fILTER(ed) From coffee to music, fILTER(ed) aims to bring a new concept to coffee shops.[/caption]

fILTER(ed) offers hand-crafted coffee and water infusions and blends them with music by offering lessons, demo recording and space rentals.


In 2016, co-owner Sean Murphy said fILTER(ed) will expand their music lessons.


“As long as we get the student in here then that’s the bottom line,” he said. “There are a lot of kids that get stunted due to lack of opportunity, and I don’t want to be the catalyst of that. Now they can record their demo tapes here without hitting bumps along the way.”


Since its opening last January, fILTER(ed) saw an immediate following and an extreme rise in cold brewed coffee sales.


“It has topped our sales over all of our drinks combined,” Murphy said. “Because it is a cleaner version of a cup of coffee.”
