Two candidates file to run for Lewisville ISD board of trustees

Filing began Jan. 15 for candidates who want to campaign for a spot on the Lewisville ISD board of trustees.

On May 2, voters will get to cast a ballot to fill Places 6 and 7 on the board.


As of the first day of filing, incumbents Kristi Hassett and Tracy Scott Miller filed for re-election for Places 6 and 7, respectively. Both Hassett and Miller were re-elected to serve their second terms in 2017. Miller is currently the vice president of the board.

Early voting will happen April 20-28. Residents must be registered to vote by April 2 to participate in the election. Feb. 14 is the last day that candidates can file to run.
