Pavement repairs on both southbound lanes of Morriss Road between First and Fourth avenues began June 27, according to a Flower Mound news release.

While the work is being done, drivers can expect alternating single lane closures and two-way traffic shifts to northbound lanes.

The cost of the project is $226,000 and is funded through the streets operating budget, Flower Mound Communications Director Melissa Demmitt said.

The repairs are expected to take approximately five weeks, ending on Aug. 1.
