Denton County commissioners unanimously approved an agreement to partner with the Texas Department of Transportation to fund a Business SH 121 right of way project from north of I-35E to north of the Northwood Mobile Home Park.

The funds will be used to make improvements to the roadway, according to the agreement.

The county will fund 10% of the fixed cost and 10% of the reimbursable utility cost for a total of $168,901, which will come from the judge's discretionary funds, according to the agreement.

TxDOT will contribute $1.52 million to the project.
