Paving work on Main Street has been substantially completed with the construction of travel lanes, a 5-foot wide bike lane and on-street public parking, according to Lewisville officials.

Sidewalks and pedestrian street lighting have been installed on Main Street. However, the lights have not been energized because the power supply still needs to be established from the Main Street and Mill Street intersection. Landscaping work is set to begin in spring 2020 after irrigation is established.

Pedestrian and bike amenities, including benches, bike racks, recycle bins and trash bins, will be installed at the end of the project in summer 2020. While paving is still underway on Mill Street, the section of the road between Church Street and College Street is complete. Sidewalk work on Mill Street is still underway.
