A total of 127,004 ballots have been cast in Denton County since early voting began Oct. 22. Saturday saw the highest amount of turnout with a total of 22,140 people voting at Denton County polling locations. To accommodate for the high volume of voters, several polling locations had to add more check-in stations, including the Lewisville Municipal Annex and the Flower Mound Police and Municipal Court Building.

Here is a breakdown of the amount of votes cast over the weekend at Lewisville, Flower Mound and Highland Village polling locations:

More than 19,000 vote in Denton County for first day of early voting

More than 19,000 people out of Denton County’s 504,567 registered voters cast a ballot in person at Denton County polling locations for the first day of early voting Monday.

4,459 people voted at Lewisville, Flower Mound and Highland Village polling locations.

Denton County Southwest Courthouse: 898

Flower Mound Municipal Court: 1,302

Highland Village Municipal Complex: 1,057

Lewisville Municipal Annex: 1,202

Voters in Denton County can cast their ballots at any polling location within the county during early voting. Denton County voters must vote within their respective precincts on Election Day.
