Final voting results show Steve Dixon wins Flower Mound Mayor, R Neil Ferguson wins Lewisville Place 2 race

With final voting totals in for the June 16 runoff election for Flower Mound mayor, Steve Dixon wins with 2,790 of the votes for Denton and Tarrant counties.

Opponent Cathy A. Strathmann received 2,498 votes.

With all precincts reporting, incumbent R Neil Ferguson has been re-elected to Lewisville City Council. Ferguson received 51.59 percent of votes or 747 votes. Opponent Ronni Cade gathered 48.41 percent or 701 votes.

With all Denton County precincts reporting, Steve Dixon has won the race for mayor with 52.56 percent of votes or 2,764 votes.

Opponent Cathy A. Strathmann received 47.44 percent of votes or 2,495 votes.


After early voting totals were released for the June 16 runoff election for Flower Mound mayor, Steve Dixon leads with 2,120 of the votes for Denton and Tarrant counties.

Opponent Cathy A. Strathmann trails with 1,878 votes.

The winner will be replacing Tom Hayden, who cannot run again due to term limits.

Early voting results for the Lewisville Place 2 seat reveal incumbent R Neil Ferguson is winning with 626 votes or 52.38 percent. His opponent Ronni Cade has 569 votes or 47.62 percent.
