Flower Mound Town Council approved two construction projects at its June 21 meeting.
The Pink Evening Primrose Trail connection will feature a 150-foot pedestrian bridge over Timber Creek and a trail stretching from Gaston Park to Timber Trails Park. The approved maximum price for the trail's construction is $534,610. The construction for the trail is expected to be finished by January, according to interim Town Manager Debra Wallace.
In addition, the reconstruction of Edgefield Trail was approved at a price of $833,040. Paving for the reconstructed road will start at Wood Creek Drive and stretch to Timber Valley Drive. No completion date was mentioned.
