Crews began their work in January on Canyon Falls Park, a more than 10-acre property that will primarily serve a group of residential neighborhoods near US 377 about a mile north of Cross Timbers Road.
The construction process is expected to last about one year and wrap up in January 2022.
When completed, the park will have a pavilion, basketball court, playground, splash pad, fitness area and restrooms.
