The new Market by Macy’s will open at the Highlands of Flower Mound shopping center Oct. 29. This will be the third store outside of a mall setting in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for Macy’s Inc., according to a Sept. 27 news release.

The smaller store offers a specially selected assortment of Macy’s branded fashion, the release stated. It will sell apparel for men, women and children and offer home and beauty items as well as gifts.


“We are thrilled to continue to expand our new store format in the Dallas-Fort Worth community, giving customers access to a unique shopping experience,” Macy's Chief Stores Officer Marc Mastronardi said in a release. “Market by Macy’s will focus on discovery and convenience for our customers while offering curated Macy’s merchandise with a local flair.”

The 20,000-square-foot store is located at 6101 Long Prairie Road, Ste. 500, Flower Mound. Other Market by Macy's locations are in Southlake and Fort Worth. A phone number is not yet available for the Flower Mound location. www.macys.com
