Premier Martial Arts opened a new franchise location on Aug. 2 at 2608 Flower Mound Road, Ste. 100, Flower Mound.

Owner Paul Hedgepeth said he and his wife, Kym Hedgepeth, opened the martial arts studio to get involved in the community.

“We provide martial arts instruction for children to teach them character development and social responsibility,” Paul Hedgepeth said. “For adults, we’re focused on fitness and protection.”

In addition to martial arts classes, Premier Martial Arts also hosts birthday parties and events. In the future, there are plans to host self-defense classes and workshops, Paul Hedgepeth said. 972-798-8923. https://premiermartialarts.com/flowermound/
